SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced and organised Payroll & HR Assistant to join a well-established company based in Faerie Glen, Pretoria East.

This role will suit someone who has solid payroll administration experience, excellent attention to detail and enjoys working in a busy HR and payroll environment.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Minimum 3+ years’ experience in payroll and/or HR administration
Previous experience assisting with the full payroll function
Sage 300 People experience will be highly advantageous
Good understanding of payroll processes, deductions, leave, overtime and employee records
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Good Excel and general computer skills
Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with the preparation and processing of monthly payroll
Capturing and updating employee payroll information
Processing leave, overtime, deductions, allowances and other payroll-related information
Checking payroll information for accuracy before processing
Maintaining accurate employee and payroll records
Assisting with new employee onboarding and employee terminations
Preparing payroll-related documentation and reports
Assisting with employee queries relating to salaries, leave and payroll matters
Supporting the HR department with general HR administration
Maintaining employee files and HR documentation
Assisting with UIF, leave records and other statutory or payroll administration as required
