SUMMARY:
Rental / Automotive company situated in Alberton seeking a Parts Coordinator in the parts department.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for the procurement of all parts required for the repairs and cleaning equipment of the fleet, as well as customer units and counter sales.

Able to handle a busy and sometimes pressured environment.

Job Functions

These are not limited to but include the following:

• Ordering of stock.

• Maintaining stock levels.

• Checking that Supplier invoices match the purchase orders and updating pricing on our internal system where applicable. Anomalies to be queried.

• Responsible for quotes accepted by customers – compares pricing, places orders for parts, follows up on receipt of parts and sends for processing once received.

• Vehicle maintenance for Technician vehicles – placing orders on parts required in order for technicians to maintain their own vehicles.

• Pricing of quotes

• Sourcing of parts

• Checking that parts have been captured correctly onto jobs prior to processing by the admin team.

• Outwork – sending outwork to Third Party Suppliers and following up until completion.

• Technician van stock counts, capturing and maintaining on the inventory system.

• Filing.

Working hours

Monday – Thursday

07h00 - 17h00

Friday

07h00 - 14h00
