Our client, a respected specialist within the apparel industry, is seeking to appoint a highly organised and detail-oriented HR & Legal Administrator to support the Head of Legal and broader business operations. This multifaceted role combines legal administration, HR coordination, payroll support, compliance, governance, and office management responsibilities.
The successful candidate will serve as a trusted support function across legal, employee relations, and administrative activities, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and confidentiality in all aspects of the role. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, sound judgement, and the ability to manage sensitive information within a fast-paced corporate environment.

Job Description:

• Act as a key support to the Head of Legal, serving as a trusted second-in-command across legal, compliance, and governance matters.
• Support the Head of Legal across legal, compliance, governance, and risk management activities, acting as a trusted second-in-command.
• Draft, review, administer, and maintain commercial contracts, agreements, employment documentation, and legal correspondence.
• Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, company policies, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate incident management, insurance claims, dispute resolution, litigation matters, and risk-mitigation initiatives.
• Support HR compliance processes, including statutory submissions, UIF administration, visa applications, disciplinary matters, and employee relations documentation.
• Draft employment contracts, remuneration amendments, employee correspondence, and other HR-related documentation.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, induction, and offboarding processes.
• Administer employee benefits, leave records, payroll-related submissions, attendance reporting, and HR reporting requirements.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries, providing professional, confidential, and solutions-focused support.
• Oversee general office administration, including expenditure approvals, contractor compliance documentation, office maintenance, and supplier coordination.
• Ensure adherence to Health & Safety requirements and support the management of office facilities and operational requirements.
• Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programmes, work anniversaries, birthdays, and staff events.
