PMO Communication and Engagement Manager 
Purpose summary 
Support the PMO teams to create, administer and organise key communication and stakeholder engagement activities in cooperation with and under the direction of the IT Portfolio Manager, aiming at excellence in communication and internal stakeholder engagement. The role proactively engages with the IT Engagement & Strategy (PMO) community to optimise internal effectiveness in support of IT’s strategic direction

Job Description:
1. In conjunction with key stakeholders, develop the internal communications strategy for relevant projects and programmes (complete delivery life cycle) which identifies and addresses key communication challenges.
-    Create engaging and informative content, messages, sites and collateral to convey project information, progress and updates.
-    Deploy above communications to support the successful delivery of all PMO projects.
-    Ensure assigned projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders.
-    Identify and leverage the most effective communication channels for targeted audiences.
-    Ensure the project communication strategy for projects is always aligned with the scope and implementation of the projects.
-    Assist Project Managers with project status updates, presentation to senior management and relevant project communications, where appropriate.
-    Ensure that all communications collateral is reviewed and signed off appropriately and transparently.
-    Align with colleagues in the HR and Marketing team to ensure that all project communications are aligned to the brand, values, and tone.

2. PMO Stakeholder Engagement
-    Initiate and develop relationships with key stakeholders to encourage PMO stakeholder engagement.
-    Partner with key stakeholders to develop and implement strategies, roadmaps and plans within the IT context and objectives to improve PMO effectiveness.
-    Develop clear plans to manage and implement PMO stakeholder engagements.
-    Address PMO stakeholder issues/concerns in an accurate and timely manner.
-    Work closely with PMO stakeholders to understand the business needs and to explore opportunities for growth.
-    Conduct PMO business reviews with stakeholders on a periodic basis.
3.    PMO Development
-    Offer PMO Communication Advisory services and guidance to encourage change during periods of transition during projects and programmes.
-    Provide advisory and guidance to Project Managers/stakeholders for relevant projects and activities.
-    Work with relevant stakeholders to craft activities, plans, and toolkits to enable key PMO stakeholders to increase their effectiveness.
4.    PMO Comms People Management
-    Manage, guide and develop a PMO Comms team.
-    Plan and allocate work to PMO Comms team members.
-    Accountable for ensuring tasks are delivered on time and to standard.
