PAYROLL CLERK

RedCat Recruitment is an experienced PAYROLL CLERK for a well-established and growing company – position based in Pietermaritzburg.

JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12.

Relevant qualifications an advantage.

VIP / Sage 300 Certification.               

Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Advanced MS Skills.

Previous experience in the payroll department is essential.

Responsible for providing administrative support to the payroll department and to contribute to the long-term development of the payroll function.                                                            

Weekly wage processing (batch capturing).                                                                        

Wages third party payments (Union, Bargaining Council, Garnishees).                                                        

Assist with the updating and maintenance of leave system.                                                                        

Ensure record keeping of employee personnel files is maintained in an orderly and up to date manner.

Provide administrative support in relation to employee information required for Company Skills Employment Equity and BEE Submissions.                                                                           

Assist with employee documents required for various audits as and when required.                       

General administrative payroll tasks.
