Order Fulfilment Administrator

SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:
The successful candidate will support the complete order fulfilment process, from receiving and capturing customer orders through to coordinating stock, dispatch and delivery.
The position involves customer communication, inventory administration, shipment tracking, supplier liaison and working closely with warehouse and logistics teams.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year’s relevant experience and be highly organised, accurate and comfortable in an operational warehouse environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Process incoming customer orders.
• Capture and update order information.
• Maintain accurate order records.
• Respond to customer order queries.
• Communicate delivery timelines and delays.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams.
• Ensure accurate picking and packing.
• Coordinate dispatch activities.
• Generate shipping labels.
• Prepare packing documentation.
• Prepare dispatch documentation.
• Monitor stock availability.
• Maintain inventory records.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding stock replenishment.
• Track outgoing shipments.
• Follow up on delayed deliveries.
• Assist with stock counts.
• Assist with cycle counts.
• Support inventory audits.
• Investigate order discrepancies.
• Investigate stock discrepancies.
• Investigate delivery discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate stock movement records.
• Liaise with warehouse, logistics and internal teams.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Minimum 1 year’s relevant experience.
• Order fulfilment or order-processing experience.
• Supply chain / logistics / warehouse exposure.
• Order-processing system experience.
• Inventory-management system experience.
• Microsoft Excel skills.
• Microsoft Outlook skills.
• Understanding of stock and inventory processes.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong administration skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
• Available for a temporary / contract assignment.
