POSITION INFO:
We’re working with a respected and fast-paced organization seeking an experienced Operational Accountant to strengthen their finance team.
This is the perfect role for a sharp, analytical professional with full financial function (FFF) expertise and some operational exposure. You’ll work closely with production, operations, and finance, ensuring accurate reporting and real-time financial insight in a demanding, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and execute the full financial function (FFF)
• Support operational teams with accurate and timeous financial insights
•  Perform budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
•  Maintain strong cost control and assist with operational costing
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Prepare management accounts, reconciliations, and financial reports
•  Engage with operational stakeholders to streamline processes

• BCom degree (Articles completed – preferred)
• 3 – 5 years post-articles experience
• Strong operational exposure (Mining/Engineering/Manufacturing highly advantageous)
• Proven experience in a full financial function role
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a demanding, hands-on, fast-paced environment
