POSITION INFO:

Job Title: Operations Administrator

Location: Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape

Industry: Logistics & Supply Chain

Contract Type: Permanent, Full time, On-site

Responsibilities:

People Management: -PPE and tools distribution; Obtaining daily machine hours; Liaison between suppliers; Manage staff for maintenance ; Human Resources Management; Uniclox system Management

Equipment Management: Diesel Report; Checklist report; Machine maintenance and service report; Asset Register; Machine breakdowns; Equipment control sheet; Stock take; Inventory Management (Receiving / Despatch and Issue)

Reporting: - Diesel Recon submitted monthly; Facility Tracker PE; MIS Updates; SOP review; Machine breakdowns summary report submitted monthly; Management of asset register- yellow machinery; Machine fuel consumption recon submitted monthly; PPE Recon submitted monthly; Weekly expense forecast; Pos, Payment remittances and PO; Weekly expenditure report; SHERQ Management system – Incident reporting & Appointment letters; CMS & XAC Reports; Weekly employee payroll report – Uniclox

Administrative: - Acquiring/comparing quotations; Obtaining an updated asset register; Full tracking of PPE; Diesel tracking, management, recon; Full tracking of Incidents; Full tracking of Appointments / Staff training

Operational Execution: - Obtaining machine parts/consumables when needed based on operational requirements; Weighbridge Systems; PPE and tools distribution; Diesel Report; Checklist report; Machine maintenance and service report; Management of the yellow machinery asset register; Machine breakdowns; Equipment control sheet (radios, brooms, tools); Maintenance /Building upgrades; Operational assistance in PE; Machine fuel consumption recon; From time to time, you will be required to perform duties outside of your job description; CMS & XAC system

Compliance: - Ensuring ISO standards, procedures and regulations are maintained; Adhering to the SHEQ requirements for the department; Ensure relevant compliance in ISO9000,14000,45000

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Minimum matric / grade 12

2. Tertiary qualification is advantageous

3. Must have experience in a similar role

4. Must have experience in working a logistics company

5. Highly computer literate

6. Experience on CMS & XAC system, Uniclox system or similar systems
