Our client in the LOGISTICS industry is looking for a Business Development Manager with break bulk and linehaul cargo experience. This position will be based in Durban.

POSITION INFO:

Our client in the LOGISTICS industry is looking for a Business Development Manager with break bulk and linehaul cargo experience. This position will be based in Durban.

You will need to have at least 3-5 years’ experience in Business Development within DISTRIBUTION/ROAD FREIGHT/BREAK BULK/LINE HAUL/FULL TRUCK LOADS transportation.

You will need to understand the market and the competitors within these sectors

Knowledge of the various types of services or types of solutions offered in this industry is vital.

A solid sales track record will be requested.

This role is mainly focussed on new business sales and business development.

The right candidate for the role will be someone who has an absolute passion for sales and hunting, someone who enjoys the challenge that comes with new business sales and someone who has a natural ability to hunt and secure new prospects.

A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle is a must.
