JOB DESCRIPTION:

National Finance Manager

This role will assist with leading a large finance team and report into the Head of Finance, while offering high level exposure across all divisions in the business. The incumbent needs to be able to manage and build a team of finance professionals in order to optimize the internal finance processes to enable operational efficiency.

Key areas of focus include, but are not limited to:

Preparing the monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports
Collecting and analysing data, which is then used in the preparation of weekly and monthly estimates
Creating KPI reports
Preparing weekly cash flow statements, and controlling expenditure and cash flow
Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts
Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data
Examining financial records to check for accuracy
Control of the operational accounting functions
Team management
Cash management including debtors and creditors processes
Regulatory compliance oversight and management
Good command of English Language
Great interpersonal skills

Minimum requirements, experience and competencies:

Qualified CA with 2 years post qualification experience.
BCom Accounting Degree or similar
SAIPA or SAICA articles
Studying / Completed CIMA qualification preferred
6 years plus experience
Strong hands -on management/operational experience
Project based environment exposure
Experience working on Microsoft Business Central
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Office
