NETWORK TECHNICIAN - ISP & VOIP  

Our client, an ISP and VoIP service provider, is seeking a Network Technician to join their team in the Hendrina area!

Location: Pullenshope (Hendrina area), Mpumalanga
Salary: R13,000
Commission: Available after 3-month probation
Working Hours: 7am - 4pm, Monday to Friday (every second week standby)
Training: Yes, training will be provided
Start Date: ASAP

Essential Requirements: 

- Matric certificate
- Code 8 - 10 driver''s license
- Own transport to and from work
- 1-2 Years Experience in internet service provider field
- On-site installation experience
- WiFi experience essential
- Knowledge of MicroTik/Ubiquity/VoIP/Cameras

Essential Skills: 
- Good communication skills
- Network experience and eager to learn
- Understanding and troubleshooting wireless internet systems
- Ability to work alone or in team without supervision

Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Configuration:
- Set up, install, and configure network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, access points)
- Configure network software to ensure proper connectivity
- Perform on-site installations for clients

Network Support & Maintenance:
- Monitor network performance to ensure uptime
- Implement security measures including firewalls
- Provide technical support to clients
- Troubleshoot wireless internet systems
- Resolve connectivity issues

Client Support:
- Provide support to clients
- Handle technical queries
- Ensure client satisfaction
