SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity for a skilled Millwright with food packaging experience to join a fast-paced, high-tech production environment in Midrand.

POSITION INFO:
Our client is a leading contract packer specialising in dry food products, operating in a highly automated facility. They produce various packaging formats including sachets, rigid containers, and pouches, using cutting-edge, high-speed packing machines. They are well-known for quality, innovation, and reliability, offering a stable work environment with career growth potential.

Maintain and repair high-speed food packaging machinery including stick pack, HFFS, VFFS, and quad-seal systems. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults to minimise downtime. Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and adjustments on Universal, Beta Pack, Bosch, Mespack, and other specialised packing machines. Collaborate closely with production teams to ensure smooth operations and meet quality and safety standards.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Trade Tested Millwright qualification required
Minimum 5 years’ experience in food packaging machinery maintenance
Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair high-speed packing machines
Experience with Universal, Beta Pack, Bosch, Mespack, or similar brands
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems in a production environment
