Our client is a machining tool supplier to the manufacturing industry

Job Description

The Service Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery. You will be responsible for the following:

Install, maintain, and repair machinery.
Diagnose issues and determine the best course of action for repair.
Perform routine maintenance checks.
Complete service reports and maintain detailed records of work performed.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding issues, repairs, and service options.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and technical standards.
Provide training or support to customers on proper equipment use when needed.
Travel to client sites as required.

Qualifications

Trade Tested as a Millwright, Fitter and Turner or Electrician

Skills

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Service Technician in the machine tool industry
Strong knowledge of electrical or mechanical
Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, or blueprints
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
