Position: Mid Level Interior Designer – Multi-Sector

Location: Umhlanga-Durban

Salary: R18 000 – R28 000 – experience depending

This Role Requires Mid-Level Interior Designer to manage and deliver interior design projects across luxury residential, retail, hospitality, and corporate environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept to installation with minimal supervision
• Develop space planning, layouts, and design concepts
• Prepare mood boards, material palettes, and presentations
• Specify furniture, finishes, fabrics, and lighting
• Produce 2D technical drawings and coordinate documentation
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors
• Conduct site visits, installations, and snagging
• Support and mentor junior designers.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design / Interior Architecture
• 3–6 years’ experience
• Strong AutoCAD skills; SketchUp/Revit advantageous
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• ·Excellent organisation, communication, and client-facing skills
• ·Multi-sector project exposure
• ·3D rendering experience
• ·Valid driver’s license
