Position Overview
Ultra Billing is seeking a motivated, results-driven Medical Billing Bureau Sales Representative to grow our specialist client base across South Africa. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, engaging with specialist medical practitioners and practice managers, and promoting Ultra Billing''s comprehensive medical billing bureau services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to presenting solutions, negotiating agreements, and handing over newly signed practices for implementation. This is a target-driven role requiring excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills, with a strong focus on generating new business and contributing to the continued growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and target new specialist medical practices requiring billing bureau services.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, digital platforms, and industry research.
- Conduct face-to-face and virtual presentations with prospective clients.
- Prepare tailored proposals and quotations.
- Negotiate terms and successfully close new business opportunities.
- Represent Ultra Billing at industry events, conferences, networking functions, and exhibitions.
- Attend meetings with internal departments to identify potential sales opportunities, referrals, and new business leads.
- Collaborate with operational teams to identify practices that may benefit from Ultra Billing''s services.
Practice Onboarding
- Coordinate the handover of newly signed practices with the implementation team.
- Assist with gathering onboarding documentation where required.
- Ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare and submit daily sales activity reports.
- Post daily sales statistics and performance metrics to the designated company communication platform.
- Report on pipeline activity, conversion rates, and sales performance.
- Track key sales metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of meetings, follow-ups, quotations, and sales opportunities.
Minimum Requirements
- 2-3 years'' proven experience in business development or external sales.
- Experience selling services into the healthcare or medical industry will be highly advantageous.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Strong networking and relationship-building ability.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Valid driver''s license and willingness to travel.
