SUMMARY:
Our client is an established chemical dosing equipment company operating in the water and wastewater treatment industry. Based in Macassar, they are seeking a young and motivated candidate to join their dynamic team.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and has a strong mechanical aptitude. A natural interest in mechanical systems and an ability to understand how they function are essential. The candidate must be capable of troubleshooting and solving technical issues as they arise.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Minimum N6 Mechanical qualification
Relevant trade test certification
Solid technical and engineering skills
Proven experience in manufacturing, troubleshooting, and engineering
Ability to interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings
1–3 years’ experience in site installations, manufacturing, and assembly
Physically fit and capable of working at heights and in confined spaces
Good understanding of tools and technical equipment
Skilled in the use of hand tools and machine tools
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Valid, unendorsed Code 08 driver’s license

Effective communication in Afrikaans and English
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills
Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude
Able to perform under pressure in a practical, hands-on environment
Excellent observation and attention to detail

Able to multitask and manage priorities efficiently

Willingness to work overtime when required

Working Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 07:45 – 16:45
Friday: 08:00 – 15:00

Christmas Holidays:
The company closes for 10 working days, typically from 15 December.
