SUMMARY:

Phakisa Holdings is currently looking for an experienced Pipe Fitter to join our team in CPT - CBD on a Contractor basis. Trade Test and welding inspection knowledge required.

POSITION INFO:

Job Title: Pipe Fitter

Seniority Level: Mid Career (4 - 6 yrs exp)

Report to: Operations Manager

Region: Western Cape

Type: Contractor

Duties and Responsibilities:

Fabricate and install high-pressure piping systems

Fit-up SCH 80+ pipes for sour service (H2S environments)
Work with spooling teams to pre-fabricate pipe sections
Conduct hydrostatic tests and flange management

Requirements:

Trade Test + welding inspection knowledge

Experience in SMEIP (Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Piping)

Sectors: Chemical, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical
