Marketing and Event Manager Cape Town

You will manage the marketing team and oversee their various responsibilities
Oversee and organize events that will make an impact to a target audience
Ensuring events and marketing projects are successful, cost-effective, paying attention to budget and time constraints
Drive the events strategy of the Group
Work with the directors and different business managers to ensure the various objectives of the company is met with a firm project management approach
Develop an understanding of the products, understand target market, the group brand and unique customers
Establish effective working relationships with sales leadership
Manage the marketing budget and ensure adherence to company Compliance requirements and any / all other procedures
Manage public marketing activities and interactions (website etc.)
Plan events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives 
Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers’ corporate rates
Coordinate all operations within the events and marketing team
Lead promotional activities as and when required
Hands on approach at all events
Ensure events are completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur
Monitor and analyse each event’s success and areas of improvement and prepare feedback reports
Manage the events and marketing team (7 staff)
