The business markets products and brands through its e-commerce website, social media, email marketing and partnerships. Its marketing activity also includes product and brand launches, seasonal campaigns, a Rewards Programme and Steak Club.
The business works with chefs, restaurants, hotels, brands, influencers, creators, events, businesses, food and hospitality organisations, suppliers, producers and farming partners.
THE ROLE: MARKETING, WEBSITE & CREATIVE GROWTH MANAGER
The Marketing, Website & Creative Growth Manager will lead marketing activity across the business and drive growth across both B2B and B2C audiences.
The role covers marketing campaigns, social media, partnerships, website and e-commerce marketing, customer marketing, brand and product launches, the Rewards Programme and Steak Club, alongside identifying new opportunities to grow the wider business.
This is a proactive role focused on identifying opportunities, developing ideas and taking ownership from concept through execution to results. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Branding, Head of Operations, Sales and Customer Service to ensure marketing activity remains aligned with stock position and commercial priorities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Strategy & Campaigns
- Develop and manage the overall B2B and B2C marketing calendar.
- Plan and deliver major commercial campaigns including Black Friday, Christmas, Easter, Summer and BBQ, Father’s Day, new product and brand launches, award announcements and seasonal promotions.
- Develop engaging campaigns between major calendar moments to maintain customer engagement throughout the year.
- Identify new reasons to communicate with customers beyond traditional promotional activity.
- Develop campaigns around products, suppliers, farming partners, customer behaviour, trends, events and wider business opportunities.
- Identify and test new marketing channels, campaign concepts and customer communication approaches.
- Own campaigns from initial idea through execution and analysis.
- Build a consistent pipeline of new marketing ideas and opportunities.
Creative Thinking & Innovation
- Generate fresh, creative and commercially relevant marketing ideas.
- Challenge existing approaches and identify opportunities to do things differently.
- Look outside the food and meat industry for ideas that could work for the brand and its customers.
- Develop campaigns, competitions, activations, promotions, partnerships and customer experiences.
- Identify new ways to make products, brands and services more interesting and engaging.
- Turn products, stock, customer insights and business opportunities into marketing ideas.
- Bring ideas proactively to meetings rather than waiting for briefs.

Social Media
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day management and growth of social media channels.
- Develop and manage the social media strategy and content calendar.
- Create engaging and commercially relevant content.
- Develop Reels, videos, photography, Stories, competitions, product features, recipes and behind-the-scenes content.
- Identify and utilise relevant social trends and opportunities.
- Work with chefs, creators, influencers, customers, suppliers and partners to create content.
- Showcase products, producers, farming partners, brands, awards and the company story.
- Develop ways to grow social following, engagement and reach.
- Align social media with campaigns, product launches, partnerships and sales activity.
- Monitor social performance and continually improve the content strategy.
- Ensure content remains fresh, relevant and consistent with the brand.
Website & E-Commerce Marketing
- Manage the ongoing marketing and commercial development of the website alongside the wider website/e-commerce function.
- Ensure the website supports campaigns, promotions, launches and commercial priorities.
- Develop and coordinate campaign landing pages and website content.
- Ensure new products, brands and promotions are effectively presented online.
- Identify opportunities to improve the customer journey and conversion.
- Develop ways to increase online sales and customer engagement.
- Develop ideas to promote and grow Steak Club and the Rewards Programme through the website.
- Identify opportunities to increase customer acquisition, repeat purchasing and customer value.
- Use website data and customer behaviour to identify improvements.
- Align website activity with email, social media and wider marketing campaigns.
B2B & B2C Growth
- Develop marketing initiatives specifically designed to engage B2B customers.
- Work with Sales to identify customer acquisition, retention and growth opportunities.
- Develop campaigns and communications for restaurants, chefs, hospitality businesses and other trade customers.
- Identify ways to introduce products and brands to new B2B audiences.
- Develop marketing that supports Sales in opening new conversations and generating new business opportunities.
- Use marketing to support customer retention and increase customer value.
- Explore new audiences, sectors, channels and commercial opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for B2B and B2C marketing to complement each other.
- Consider how marketing can support different areas of the wider business beyond the consumer website.
Rewards Programme & Steak Club
- Develop creative ideas to increase Rewards Programme membership.
- Create campaigns encouraging customers to join, engage with and use the programme.
- Communicate programme benefits across the website, email, social media and other customer touchpoints.
- Develop initiatives to increase customer frequency, retention and lifetime value.
- Identify ways to make the Rewards Programme more engaging and valuable.
- Create exclusive offers, experiences, content or benefits.
- Analyse customer behaviour and programme performance to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop and execute a strategy to grow Steak Club membership.
- Develop reasons for customers to join and remain engaged.
- Create Steak Club-specific campaigns, offers, content and experiences.
- Promote Steak Club through email, social media, website and other channels.
- Explore partnerships and collaborations that could introduce Steak Club to new audiences.
- Create exclusive content, competitions, events, offers or experiences for members.
- Identify opportunities to increase engagement and repeat purchasing.
- Track membership growth, engagement and commercial performance.
- Continually develop ideas to strengthen the Steak Club proposition.
Partnerships, Content & Brand
- Identify, approach and develop partnerships with chefs, restaurants, hotels, brands, influencers, creators, events, businesses and food and hospitality organisations.
- Identify unusual collaborations that could introduce the business to new audiences.
- Develop mutually beneficial partnership concepts.
- Manage partnership relationships and campaigns from initial idea through delivery.
- Use partnerships to support brand awareness, customer acquisition, Steak Club, Rewards and wider business growth.
- Proactively identify potential partners.
- Source, create and coordinate content across social, email, website and wider marketing activity.
- Develop photography, video, recipes, chef content, product stories and educational content.
- Identify stories within the business and turn them into marketing opportunities.
- Work closely with the Head of Branding to ensure marketing remains creative, consistent and on-brand.
- Tell the stories behind products, producers, farming partners and brands.
- Make product expertise and quality engaging and accessible to customers.
- Repurpose content across different channels.
Email & Customer Marketing
- Manage regular B2B and B2C email marketing.
- Develop promotional, editorial, product, seasonal and campaign-led emails.
- Support product launches, brand launches, Steak Club and Rewards Programme activity through email.
- Create reactive emails around stock availability, awards, trends and commercial opportunities.
- Segment audiences and tailor communications accordingly.
- Test subject lines, offers, content and messaging.
- Use customer data and behaviour to improve email performance and engagement.
Stock-Led & Reactive Marketing
- Work with Operations to understand stock availability, priorities and opportunities.
- React quickly to excess stock, new arrivals, limited availability and promotional opportunities.
- Turn stock situations into creative marketing campaigns rather than relying solely on discounts.
- Identify opportunities based on seasonality, margins, customer demand and product availability.
- React to trends, industry news, awards, events and relevant cultural moments.
- Adapt plans when commercial opportunities change.

Data, Reporting & Commercial Performance
- Monitor performance across email, social media, website and other marketing channels.

- Use data and customer insight to inform future marketing ideas.

Essential
- Experience in a marketing role within a similar industry, including Consumer Goods, Food & Beverage, Hospitality, Consumer Lifestyle Brands or Food.
- Experience working within a more intimate company or brand environment.
- Strong understanding of B2B and B2C marketing.
- Proven ability to generate creative ideas and turn them into successful campaigns.
- Strong understanding of social media and content marketing.
- Experience managing social media channels and developing content strategies.
- Experience planning and delivering campaigns from concept through execution.
- Experience with email marketing and CRM.
- Understanding of website management, e-commerce and customer journeys.
