Marketing Traffic Coordinator - Milnerton, Cape Town – R13k – R16k

An exciting opportunity is available for an organized and proactive Marketing Traffic Coordinator to join a creative design studio. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily workflows, project timelines and resource allocation, acting as the key link between account management, creative teams and production.
The role requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented and able to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Matric certificate
Minimum 1 years' experience in marketing traffic management, project coordination or production, ideally within an advertising, marketing or design agency.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with project management software such as Asana, ClickUp or Monday.com.
Familiarity with collaborative design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A calm, solutions-focused and diplomatic approach to managing challenges and tight deadlines.
Ability to work effectively with creative, account management and production teams.
Strong understanding of creative workflows and project delivery processes.

Responsibilities:

Workflow Management: Review incoming project briefs, assess studio capacity and allocate tasks to the appropriate designers and copywriters.
Schedule Management: Monitor project milestones and deadlines, identify potential bottlenecks and proactively adjust timelines to ensure projects remain on track.
Resource Allocation: Balance workloads across the creative team to optimise efficiency and ensure resources are effectively utilised.
Project Coordination: Coordinate communication between account management, creative teams and production to ensure projects progress smoothly from brief through to delivery.
Status Reporting: Lead regular status meetings, maintain accurate project updates and keep relevant stakeholders informed of project progress.
Project Management Systems: Update and manage projects using project management platforms such as Asana, ClickUp or Monday.com.
Quality Control: Ensure creative assets meet required specifications and pass through the necessary review and approval stages before final client delivery.
Deadline Management: Proactively identify risks to delivery timelines and communicate any issues or delays to the relevant stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a highly organized marketing traffic, project or production coordinator who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep creative projects moving. You should be comfortable juggling multiple deadlines, coordinating different stakeholders and proactively identifying issues before they become problems.
