SUMMARY:

The main purpose of this position:


Our Client a leading manufacturer of equipment and supplies to the meat industry is looking for a dynamic marketing assistant / junior brand manager to join their marketing team
 

This is the perfect position for a Young marketing graduate, looking to grow within an established Company
 

The duties for this position involve the traditional aspects of above and below the line marketing, as well as digital marketing, and social media marketing
 

It would be perfect for someone who has some graphic design experience and at least 2 years Social Media experience including digital marketing
 

The successful candidate will assist the Marketing manager with their current marketing strategy and well as be a part of the design and implementation of new marketing strategies to coincide with changing consumer buying trends
 

Desired results are Digital & marketing KPIs and the timeous implementation of marketing activities
 

Qualifications & Experience required:

  • A National diploma in Marketing is required
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in Social Media and Digital Marketing management
  • A qualification in Graphic Design will be a definite advantage


JOB DESCRIPTION:


Desired Experience & Qualification:

  • Graphic Design Experience would be an advantage
  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years` experience in Social Media and digital marketing is required, where you have designed and implemented a social media ad campaign.
  • Experience with SOE, and AdWords management in order to maintain a top position on Google
  • Hands on experience using social media
  • Proven track record managing social media and placing paid Facebook and Google Ads
  • Proven experience in monitoring campaign results and tweaking to achieve better results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and multi-tasking skills
  • Some technical competencies across multiple marketing domains
  • Ability to analyse small amounts of data

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Keep content on social media up to date
  • Manage day-to-day paid social advertising campaigns on Facebook, Instagram. Google, etc.
  • Work with the team to create high quality, consistently engaging and timely content across Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram
  • Daily update of marketing and managing posts for Facebook, Instagram and Google campaigns
  • Implement agreed strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices
  • Assist Marketing Manager with implementing brand strategies at operational level
  • Assist with B2B and B2C quarterly planning
  • Implement the marketing plan to drive sales, ensuring close collaboration with the sales team
  • Assist with ATL and BTL activations including POS and promotional materials and the distribution and storage thereof
  • Market expense tracking / budgeting
  • Writing and proofreading creative copy
  • Community management of social media platforms as well as design of posts
  • Basic analysis to assist EXCO and sales team on ad hoc basis
  • Track marketing KPIs
  • Assist with internal marketing and promoting company culture
