Marketing Assistant

We're a busy digital communications company seeking a bright, organized Marketing Assistant to support our Brand & Creative team. If you're a graduate with a sharp eye for detail and a desire to learn how a professional marketing department runs, this is your ideal first step. You'll be at the heart of the action, managing our online shop, coordinating events and branded materials, and ensuring our team operates efficiently and effectively.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:
Take ownership of our branded merchandise web shop, keeping product information accurate and up-to-date
Handle the end-to-end process of merchandise orders, from liaising with suppliers to dispatching to customers
Coordinate the production of all branded print materials and signage, working with designers and printers
Assist in planning and executing company events, handling logistics and on-the-day support
Become the guardian of our marketing files, keeping everything organised and easy to find
Help schedule pre-approved social media content
Support our designer with basic administrative tasks like file preparation
Keep track of office stationery and marketing consumables, reordering as needed
Arrange couriers and manage the logistics for sending out marketing materials
Take notes in team meetings and help track project action items
 
Skills & Experience (Not negotiable):
A National Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, or a similar field (NQF Level 6)
Strong computer skills, particularly in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
1-2 years of experience – we welcome applications from recent graduates
Any exposure to eCommerce platforms or social media tools is a bonus
A demonstrated ability to stay organised and manage multiple small tasks without dropping the ball
You are: Super organised, reliable, and eager to learn. You have high attention to detail, you're a natural team player, and you're not afraid to spot something that needs doing and just do it
