Job description

Responsibilities & requirements 

 

·        Demonstrates Safety leadership, sustainable development and company values.

·        Applies specialist knowledge to recommend, implement, operate and maintain appropriate technical systems

·        Responsible for all production activities.

·        Responsible for all logistic activities.

·        Responsible for all resourcing and budgeting requirements for above mentioned activities.

·        Responsible for compliance with all legal, environmental, occupational health and safety and risk management standards and best practices.

·        Oversees slope stability monitoring and reporting.

·        Oversees physical rehabilitation of surfaces is done according to mine closure plan.

·        Ensures coordination of civil and water engineering activities and adherence to timeframes and standards

·        Ensures compliance with all legal, environmental, occupational health and safety and risk management standards and best practice

·        Will carry the 3.1A legal appointment

Minimum requirements

Qualificatiosn & requirements

 ·     BEng / BTech Mining (NQF 7/10)

·      Mining : GCC

·      Mine Managers Certificate

·      Minimum of 10 years work experience

·      Comprehensive Experience in Mining Operations

·      Valid South African Driver’s license: Code8/EB

·      In a position to obtain Medical Fitness Certificate
