Management Couple

SUMMARY:
A large self-catering resort in the Hazyview region is seeking an experienced and dynamic Management Couple to join the team.
 
This opportunity is ideally suited to a couple where one partner will fulfil the role of Lodge Manager, while the other will serve as Admin Manager. Together, they will oversee the day-to-day operation of the resort, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, efficient administration, strong financial controls, and smooth operational performance across all departments.
 
The successful couple will be hands-on hospitality professionals with complementary skills in operations, leadership, guest relations, reservations, and administration.

REQUIREMENT:
 
Lodge Manager 

• RSA ID and legal residence essential
• Minimum 5 years' hospitality management experience
• Hospitality or related tertiary qualification beneficial
• Valid Driver's License and own reliable vehicle
• Strong financial acumen and budgeting experience
• Proven leadership and staff management ability
• Excellent communication and guest relations skills
• Ability to train, mentor, and develop staff
• Strong operational and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing large hospitality operations advantageous

• Minimum 3 years' experience in hospitality administration or hotel management
• Hospitality or Administration qualification beneficial
• Valid Driver's License
• Strong Front Office, reservations, and guest relations experience
• Experience managing reservation systems and booking platforms
• Strong administration, organisational, and communication skills
• Good financial administration and reporting skills
• Computer literate with strong Microsoft Office skills
• Professional, organised, and guest-focused approach

• Oversee the overall operation of the resort
• Manage Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Back-of-House departments
• Manage budgets, financial controls, and operational costs
• Lead, mentor, and develop departmental teams
• Ensure Health and Safety compliance and operational excellence
• Conduct regular quality assurance inspections
• Manage supplier and contractor relationships 

• Oversee reservations, Front Office administration, and guest communications
• Manage guest check-ins and check-outs
• Maintain reservation systems and operational records
• Assist with financial administration, reporting, stock control, and supplier documentation
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
• Support payroll administration and general office management
• Assist the Lodge Manager with operational coordination and administration
• Ensure exceptional guest service and professionally resolve guest queries 

• Combined salary of R40,000 per month
• Live-in accommodation provided
