POSITION INFO:
An established manufacturing organisation is seeking a Management Accountant to join its regional finance team.

This role plays a key part in supporting operational performance through costing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. The successful candidate will provide insight to drive margin improvement, cost control, and informed decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update standard costing on SAP for feed products
• Analyse and ensure accuracy of product cost structures within production processes
• Perform monthly variance analysis (actual vs standard) and explain key drivers
• Track product and customer profitability and highlight margin deviations
• Prepare monthly management reports and KPI reporting packs
• Coordinate annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
• Review and consolidate operational budgets in line with guidelines
• Calculate ROI for Capex proposals and support investment decisions
• Monitor costs against budget and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Investigate stock variances and support corrective actions

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom / CIMA / CA(SA) (Required)
• Strong understanding of management accounting and costing principles

• 4-5 years’ experience in management accounting or commercial finance
• Strong exposure to costing, variance analysis, and margin reporting
• Experience in manufacturing or processing environments (essential)
• Exposure to SAP or similar ERP systems
• Experience working with operational and commercial stakeholders
• Team leadership or supervisory exposure (advantageous)
