POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on production, packing, and site equipment.
• Maintain and upgrade electrical panels, wiring, sensors, and control systems.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on beverage production lines, conveyors, pumps, motors, and packaging equipment.
• Perform mechanical adjustments and replacements to maintain optimal equipment performance.

• Conduct scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance on all electrical and mechanical systems.
• Identify potential issues before they lead to breakdowns and ensure equipment longevity.

• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
• Ensure all installations meet safety, performance, and operational standards.

• Adhere to all OHS Act regulations and site-specific safety protocols.
• Ensure safe handling of electrical components and mechanical tools.

• Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and installations.
• Provide feedback on equipment performance and suggest improvements.

• Communicate effectively with production teams and supervisors.
• Provide technical support and training where necessary.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, and motor control.
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems in beverage production environments.

• Registered Millwright.
• Relevant N3/N4 qualification or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 5–10 years experience in a beverage or FMCG production environment.
• Experience with automated production lines and packaging machinery.

• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues efficiently.

• Capable of lifting and handling heavy equipment.
• Comfortable working in various environmental conditions.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.

Drivers License

• Code 10 license with PDP (Professional Driving Permit) required for on-site travel.
