Maintenance Assistant (Hospitality / Property)

SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

• 21/7 working cycle

• Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Manager

• Conduct preventative maintenance checks on equipment, facilities, and infrastructure

• Inspect all maintenance aspects when performing tasks to ensure work is completed correctly

• Identify maintenance issues and report them to management when necessary

• Engage qualified specialists for technical work outside the scope of basic handyman duties

• Use the correct tools and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored

• Assist with garden maintenance and irrigation system upkeep

• Record all materials and stock used on job cards for accurate budget allocation

• Complete stock control documentation and ensure proper stock handover procedures

• Assist with monthly stock taking and inventory checks

• Report completion of tasks to the Maintenance Manager

• Follow maintenance schedules and ensure tasks are completed within deadlines

• Communicate any deviations, delays, or issues to management promptly
