POSITION INFO:

Mid-level Goods & Receiving Clerk

Location: Pretoria East
Salary: R11,500 (CTC)

Purpose of the Role

To manage the receipt, inspection, and documentation of all incoming goods, ensuring stock accuracy, proper storage, and compliance with company procedures

Key Responsibilities

Receive, check, and verify incoming stock deliveries against purchase orders.
Inspect goods for quality, quantity, and damage; report discrepancies immediately.
Accurately capture stock into the inventory management system.
Ensure correct labelling, storage, and organization of received goods.
Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and dispatch teams.
Maintain a clean and safe receiving area.
Assist with periodic stock counts and audits.
Complete required documentation (GRNs, delivery notes, etc.).
Uphold health, safety, and compliance standards at all times.

Requirements

Matric (Grade 12) – essential.
At least 2–4 years’ experience in goods receiving, warehousing, or stock control.
Strong administrative and data capturing skills.
Computer literacy (MS Office, inventory software experience advantageous).
Good communication skills in English (Afrikaans beneficial).
Physically fit to handle stock where necessary.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
