I am looking for driven individuals that have a completed qualification in Logistics or Transport Economics, as well as working experience in the field.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Experience and Skills Required

  • BCom Degree in Transport Economics or Logistics / BEng Degree
  • Material and Stock Management
  • Handling of shipping, receiving and general warehousing for company
  • Maintain and develop the optimal export supply chain to all export markets
  • Formulation of the logistical strategy plan with the line managers
  • Negotiate contracts with 3rd party logistical service logistical service providers for example, warehouses, transporters, and port terminal operators
  • Problem solving, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of international shipping and trade agreements and legislation
