Knowledge and Experience

Relevant Degree
3 years plus experience in Clearing and Forwarding
Supply Chain knowledge would be beneficial
Sales or new business development
Sales training or related courses - advantage
Proficient on : Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint
Strong “cold calling” experience
Own transport required

Main Tasks:

Generate new, profitable business within the Group’s defined parameters
Research and generating own leads
Cold Calling
Analysis, formulation and implementation of logistics solutions
Generate and present proposals to clients
Prepare estimates (costing schedules) to clients
Negotiate client rate increases annually
Coordination, collaboration and communication
