SUMMARY:
My client is based in the Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg and they are looking for a Transportation Sales Executive with a hunter profile to join the team. International company with small footprint in SA but looking to expand. Must be passionate about software as a service product and be familiar with map/geo location services, routing problems, TMS and last mile industry.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum 3 years experience in the field
Positive and motivated hunter with a business degree
Solid understanding of sales process and dynamics

Responsibilities

Be able to identify customer problems and turn into opportunities based on transport portfolio
Lead generation / prospecting for potential clients using face to face, networking and social media
Qualify leads
Drive sales cycle from prospect identification to closing of sale
Reporting
Providing feedback on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs etc
Be a positive representative of the company brand
