A pharmaceutical company that is known for their distribution of extensive range of healthcare products through a national wholesaler footprint is searching for a driven, analytical individual to join their team in Johannesburg.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Role:

The purpose of the role is to facilitate communication between production, sales, and distribution stages to promote a healthy and efficient supply chain. Managing distribution and shipment budgets, ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards of the company principles. Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized
Reviewing order status relating to marketing strategies, new launches, new tenders, product info updates and any market related trends.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

Diploma in Logistics
3-5 years’ experience as a Logistics Coordinator
Record of successful distribution and logistics
Proficient in standard logistics software
Track and manage all deliveries and report any deviations
Responding to freight inquiries and referring to the proper channels i.e. Regulatory
Regular discussions with Demand Planners ensuring products are released, allocations are done, and recommendations made aligned to true demand
Regular interaction with all key stakeholders within the supply chain to facilitate stock availability to secure deliveries are on time and in full
Managing distribution and shipment budgets
