Logistics Coordinator Midrand

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to oversee the delivery of stock to our clients across South Africa. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate logistics efficiently.

Salary: Market-related CTC

Position Type: Permanent - Office based only

Minimum Requirements:

• A degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in logistics coordination, supply chain management,
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Knowledge of South African transportation regulations and practices.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
• Familiarity with customs regulations and international shipping
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel if required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordination of Deliveries: Plan and manage the delivery schedule to ensure timely delivery of stock to clients.
• Vendor Relations: Collaborate with suppliers, transport companies, and customers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate inventory management.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain all necessary shipping and delivery documentation, including waybills, invoices, and customs documentation.
• Problem Solving: Address any delivery issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
• Tracking: Utilize logistics software and tracking systems to monitor shipments and report on delivery statuses.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies regarding the handling and transportation of goods.
• Client Communication: Maintain communication with clients regarding delivery schedules, delays, and other relevant information.
