Logistics Clerk – Durban

R7000pm - Fixed Contract

Must be Available Immediately

Requirements:

• Must be Available Immediately
• Grade 12 / Matric
• Studying towards a Diploma or Degree Qualification in logistics or related field
• 1-2 years’ of experience in a manufacturing environment in a similar role
• Proficient in Computer literacy (MS Office with excel basic to intermediate level)
• Proficient in speaking, reading and writing in English with report writing skills and compilation ability

Your Future

My client is seeking to employ a motivated, tenacious and dynamic candidate to assist with the overall administrative duties of the Logistics Department, and ensure that the capturing of invoices and orders are executed timeously and effectively.

Duties:

• Understands the details about logistics including the specifics relating to what is coming in or going out of the company.
• Keeps electronic and/or paper files accurate and up-to-date, track orders, answer billing questions, and discuss content.
• Keeping an eye on stock and participating in inventory counts.
• Co-ordinates multiple orders for pick-up.
• Deals with any discrepancies that arise with the carrier - the logistics clerk will look into the agreed-upon terms.
• Manages activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met.
