Logistics Assistant

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

• Grade 12 school leaving certificate
• Certificate/ Diploma: Supply Chain / Warehouse Management Experiential:
• Minimum 1 years in the Automotive Industry
• Minimum 2 years in the Logistics/ Warehouse environment
• Must be computer literate (MS Office, Excel and Word)
• Attention to detail

Key Role Responsibilities

• Responsible for receiving all stock from Production / other depots
• Receiving GIT’S on Syspro system ensuring that stock is matching document to the system
• To ensure that goods are not damaged and packed neatly
• Responsible for labelling all stock when received
• Responsible for all Part number changes in all branches across the country
• Responsible for all Supply chain transfers when required from depot branches
• Ensure stock is GRV’d correctly on Syspro before being packed away
• Authorised Stock adjustments as required.
• All aspects related to dispatch operations
• Daily variance checks also when requested by management
• Assisting in monthly stock take and conducting all depot stock takes including variance checks and final posting.
• Assist with stock on backorders
• Checking stock in warehouse ensuring all incorrect parts are loaded in the correct part number, all unknown bars to be sent down to production for correct identification.
• Ensuring that correct bin locations are allocated on the system when binning stock on receipt and maintenance there off.
• Receiving and checking stock from outsourced suppliers.
• Operate according to standard operating procedures and within the parameters of applicable legislation
