POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

3+ Years' proven experience as a Logistics Assistant.
Valid South African Passport.
Excellent employment references.
Fluent in English and Hindi.
Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration or related field.
Strong administrative and communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office and Logistics Software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Ability to work in a multicultural environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and track shipments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Assist with inventory control, stock management, and warehouse documentation.
Prepare shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, customs paperwork).
Communicate with suppliers, transport companies, and internal departments to arrange deliveries and resolve issues.
Monitor and update logistics databases and systems with accurate shipping and receiving records.
Ensure compliance with import/ export regulations and company policies.
Handle administrative duties related to logistics such as filling, scheduling, and record-keeping.
Support the logistics team in daily operations, including order processing and transporting planning.
Identify and report delays, discrepancies, or damaged goods.
Assist in cost control and budgeting related to transportation and logistics services.
