Our Client is currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Advisor / Attorney to join their team. This is a vital role for a legal professional who enjoys a broad scope of work, ranging from complex contract drafting to high-level strategic risk analysis. If you are an Admitted Attorney with 3–5 years of commercial experience, we want to hear from you.

As a Legal Advisor, you will act as the guardian of the business’s legal interests. You will move beyond simple legal theory to provide business-focused advice, helping the company navigate transactions while minimizing risk.
You will manage a diverse portfolio of responsibilities, acting as the primary point of contact for external counsel, regulatory bodies, and third-party service providers.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Drafting: Draft, review, and vet a wide variety of commercial contracts and agreements to ensure robust legal protection.
Risk Analysis: Proactively identify legal risks and implications in business transactions and provide strategic solutions to mitigate them.
Compliance & Research: Conduct in-depth legal research and ensure the business remains compliant with all applicable laws and industry-specific regulations.
Stakeholder Liaison: Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including third-party providers, regulatory administration offices, and external legal counsel.

Qualifications:
An LLB Degree is essential.
Admission as an Attorney of the High Court is essential.
Grade 12 / Matric.

Experience & Skills:
3–5 Years Post-Admission Experience, specifically within a corporate and commercial environment
Demonstrated experience in drafting commercial contracts
Strong knowledge of industry-specific legal requirements.

Other:
Must have a valid Driver’s License and own vehicle.
