POSITION INFO:
Our client in the agricultural sector is looking for a Laboratory Technician to join their team in Stellenbosch. 
The candidate must have an Honours degree, be fluent in English, and speak or have an understanding of Afrikaans

Minimum requirements:

• BSc Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Microbiology
• Experience in a commercial laboratory
• Experience in the field of agriculture or nutrition would be beneficial but not required
• Sample Preparation
• Assisting with general laboratory housekeeping
• Performing routine analysis on samples according to standard methods and procedures
  • Proximate analysis (DM, Ash, NDF, ADF, ADL, Starch, EE)
  • Mineral analysis (ICP)
  • Digestibility
  • Quality control
• Data capturing
• Preparing analysis results
• Must have own reliable transport
