 ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Qetello Holdings is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading road freight and logistics company, for a driven, results-oriented, and commercially minded Logistics Sales Executive to contribute to the company''s continued growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, developing a strong sales pipeline, generating leads, and building lasting relationships with prospective and existing clients. The role will focus on promoting tailored logistics solutions, preparing quotations, negotiating service agreements, and achieving agreed business acquisition and revenue targets.

This position requires a proactive sales professional with strong business development capabilities, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently in a target-driven environment. Previous experience within the logistics or transport industry would be highly advantageous.

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Matric Certificate.
• Minimum of 3–5 years'' experience in sales or business development, preferably within the logistics or transport industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to generate leads, develop sales pipelines, and secure new business.
• Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
• A valid driver''s licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Willing to travel as required.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead Generation & Prospecting

• Identify potential clients within target markets through research, networking, and other prospecting activities.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve established targets.
• Conduct cold calling and arrange appointments with prospective clients.
• Meet with potential customers to introduce the company''s services and identify business opportunities.

 New Business Development & Sales

• Drive new business acquisition in line with agreed monthly and annual targets.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities to generate revenue growth.
• Prepare and submit competitive quotations to prospective customers.
• Negotiate rates and service agreements in accordance with the company''s approved pricing structure.
• Convert prospective clients into long-term business relationships.

 Client Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries during the onboarding process.
• Identify and understand client requirements to recommend suitable, tailored logistics solutions.
• Maintain positive client relationships to encourage customer satisfaction and long-term business retention.

 Sales Strategy & Execution

• Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and business proposals.
• Develop effective sales approaches to secure new business opportunities.
• Negotiate pricing and service terms to secure contracts aligned with company objectives.
• Drive sales activities to achieve agreed business acquisition and revenue targets.

 Market Research & Business Intelligence

• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities.
• Research industry developments and changing customer requirements.
• Provide management with feedback regarding market conditions, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
• Identify opportunities to expand the company''s customer base and market presence.

 Reporting & Administration

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities within the CRM system.
• Monitor and report on sales pipeline progress and business development activities.
• Ensure all sales documentation, quotations, and client records are maintained accurately.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and approved pricing structures.

WORKING HOURS

Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 16:00.
