SUMMARY:
The Linen Room Attendant is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining the inventory of linens and uniforms. This role ensures that clean and quality linen is available at all times for guest rooms and other departments, supporting smooth daily operations.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, sort, and count clean linen from the laundry service
Inspect linens for cleanliness and damage; report or remove damaged items
Issue clean linen, towels, uniforms, and other items to housekeeping and other departments as needed
Maintain proper records of issued and returned items
Ensure linen room is clean, organized, and secure at all times
Assist in taking and maintaining accurate linen inventory
Coordinate with the laundry service provider for timely pick-up and delivery
Handle guest laundry (if applicable), ensuring timely return and proper labeling
Follow all health, hygiene, and safety regulations

Requirements:

Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry operations is preferred
Ability to lift and carry heavy loads and stand for long periods
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic record-keeping and communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision
High school diploma or equivalent is an advantage
