Junior Warehouse Manager Wanted!

We’re seeking a proactive Junior Warehouse Manager in Cape Town to join an amazing FMCG team and support the smooth day-to-day operations of the warehouse;  with a key role in stock control, distribution, and operational efficiency, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.

POSITION INFO:
What You’ll Do:

• Assist in supervising and coordinating warehouse operations
• Receive, check, and accurately record incoming stock and materials
• Manage stock control processes including cycle counts, stock takes, and reconciliations
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of stock (FIFO principles)
• Coordinate picking, packing, and dispatching stock to stores on time
• Liaise with suppliers, transport providers, stores, and internal teams
• Support warehouse staff, onboarding, and training of new employees
• Prepare operational and stock reports for management
• Assist with cost control, audits, and compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a FMCG | bakery | hospitality environment
• Local citizens
• Proven track record with contactable references
• Strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills
• Experience with stock control or accounting systems
• Experience capturing stock on the respective software program
• Stock take
• Computer literacy is essential
• Omni experience advantageous
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Clear criminal record (verification required)
• Must meet assessment requirements
• Flexibility to work long hours, weekends, public holidays, and at short notice
