Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintaining in-house computing systems.
This may include Installing new hardware and software, as well as personalizing these to enhance a company's productivity.
The role involves diagnosing software or hardware faults
Solving the issues telephonically or in person.
Communicating effectively with customers and also internally to escalate customer issues efficiently. Providing prompt, consistent and high-quality support to clients.
Qualification, Skills & Experience Required:
Matric or relevant qualification
5 Years’ experience as a technician ideally gained within the Information Technology or Publishing or related arena
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Knowledge or experience in Software Applications such as Panda Security would be an advantage!
Knowledge and exposure to Microteck Software would be advantageous!
Taking the Company Vehicles for annual services
Must be comfortable to do other reasonable duties around the office as requested from time to time.
Must be SLA and Solutions driven to assist the department effectively and efficiently
Flexibility to work rotational shifts in a 24/7 environment. Working hours are 8:30 am - 16:30 pm
Proficiency on MS office
Clear criminal record
