SUMMARY:
Junior Technician (Century City, Cape Town)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Roles & Outcomes:

vStoreroom maintenance and keeping track of stock.

vTravelling to/from suppliers.

vProduct assembly.

vProduct testing and fault finding.

vSoldering electronic components during product/prototype assembly and re-work.

vPreparing and packaging items for shipment.

vDocumentation and database maintenance for test reports and stock lists.

vGeneral hardware/maintenance work around the office.

Education & Qualifications:

vMatric certificate.

vAt least 1 year of electronic technician experience, or appropriate diploma qualification.

vExcellent work ethics, punctual, enthusiastic and willing to learn.

vFluent in spoken and written English.

vTeam player with the ability to work in small teams.

v

Experience:

vExperience in soldering, electronic assembly and testing.

vHigh level of dexterity with hands and good eyesight (for delicate work).

vAbility to read and understand circuit schematic diagrams.

vPatience for repetitive tasks.

vGeneral computer skills including word, excel, etc.

vAbility to work without constant supervision and micromanagement.

vValid SA driving license and own reliable transport.
