JOB DESCRIPTION:

Designer of modular and custom structures of lightweight building systems seeks to appoint a Junior Project Manager at their premises in Cape Town.

You will be involved from project kick-off to close-off and assist Senior Project Managers with compiling and recording accurate project info highlighting areas of concern.

For the position you would be required to have:

Degree in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying
Around 5 years' project management experience in contract administration
MS Office and MS Projects

Responsibilities would include you to:

Contract management: track and reconcile all charges, compile and submit monthly progress claims
Work closely with Supply Chain Manager and fabricators to ensure manufacturing lead times are met and goods are shipped efficiently
Maintain overall budget versus actual and implement and manage site cost and payment controls
Assist with quality management (QA/QC) across fabrication, procurement, logistics, assembly and installation
Project completion and record keeping
Provide final project report and reconciliation
