Job Type: Full Time Onsite

Reside close to JHB

Positive attitude and eagerness to develop a long-term career.
Must be willing to work occasional Overtime : Sunday evenings and week nights when required.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Project Assistant to assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of projects. The successful candidate will work closely with the Key Account Manager, Project Managers, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination

Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Maintain project documentation and records.
Attend site meetings.
Ensure safety files are onsite upon project commencement.
Take site measurements and provide feedback to the draughtsman.
Ensure drawing sign-off for panels and that panels are issued into production.
Confirm materials/cases have been ordered as per Sales Order.
Ensure materials/cases are onsite and ready for installation as per the Programme of Works (POW).
Confirm when cases are required onsite with the relevant coordinator.
Confirm delivery and installation dates with relevant parties.
Ensure suitable access and exit arrangements for delivery of materials/cases.
Compile snag lists per phasing for cases.
Compile snag lists for completed panel installations.
Prepare sites and complete final handover to the Key Account Manager for sign-off

Communication

Liaise with internal team members and Project Managers.
Ensure effective communication with all relevant parties.
Communicate to the Key Account Manager when sites are ready for sign-off.
Communicate any delays or challenges to all relevant parties promptly.

Cost Management

Monitor project expenses.
Submit subcontractor payments to the Key Account Manager for approval and submission to accounts.
Submit payments together with Sales Orders, payment requisitions, and purchase orders.

Quality Control

Ensure project deliverables and quality standards are achieved.
Ensure snag items are resolved in a timely manner.
Communicate quality issues to the quality control team.

Skills Requirements

Technical aptitude.
Good communication skills.
Ability to take instructions and follow through effectively.
Computer literate.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Package

CTC: Approximately R19,000 per month.
Petrol expenses covered by the company.
Minor vehicle services covered.
Cell phone allowance provided.
