Junior Key Account Manager

POSITION INFO:

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of key accounts, ensuring products are correctly listed, information is accurate, stock and availability are monitored, and sales performance is understood and acted upon.

The role is desk-based, rather than one focused on relationship management,making it particularly suited to someone who enjoys working with systems, information and processes rather than spending most of their time on the road.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and maintain key retail and e-commerce accounts.

• Maintain product listings and ensure product information is accurate and up to date

• Support new product listings and product launches

• Work with customer portals and online retail systems

• Monitor product availability and stock levels

• Analyse sales and product performance information

• Identify products that are performing well and those requiring attention

• Maintain account information, systems and databases

• Manage day-to-day account administration and follow up on outstanding issues

• Ensure products are available across the relevant stores/channels

• Build and maintain positive relationships with key customers

• Identify opportunities to introduce new products or improve account performance

• Liaise internally to resolve account, product, stock and listing-related queries

• Provide accurate and timely account information and reporting

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience managing or supporting large retail or e-commerce accounts

• Strong Excel and computer skills

• The ability to work confidently with large amounts of information and data

• Experience working with customer portals, online systems or retailer platforms

• Strong administrative and organisational ability

• Good attention to detail and accuracy

• The ability to analyse sales/product information and draw practical conclusions

• A commercially minded approach to account management

This role will suit an analytical account manager who will spend their time managing accounts from the office, using Excel, systems, portals and customer data to ensure that major accounts operate effectively.

This is a full time, office based role in Alrode.
