About Africrest Properties

Africrest Properties is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Junior Creditors Administrator to join our Finance team.

The successful candidate will assist with the creditors function across our residential property portfolio, including invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, payments, and cashbook administration. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong financial administration skills, and takes pride in maintaining accuracy and building strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Process supplier invoices accurately using the DOKKA online invoice capturing system.
Verify supplier documentation and VAT requirements.
Maintain supplier information and banking details on MDA.
Assist with supplier account reconciliations and resolve queries.
Process supplier payments according to agreed payment terms.
Send remittance advices after payment runs.
Monitor supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
Respond to supplier queries professionally.
Assist with daily bank statement imports into MDA.
Process cashbook transactions, payments, debits, transfers, and intercompany loan allocations.
Assist with monthly cashbook reconciliations.
Assist with supplier age analysis and owner reports.
Support month-end processes and audits.
Maintain accurate financial documentation and filing.
Provide administrative support to the Finance and Property Management teams where required.

Minimum Requirements

Matric Certificate.
1–2 years'' experience in creditors and/or cashbook functions.
Previous experience within the property management industry will be advantageous.
MDA experience will be advantageous.
DOKKA experience will be advantageous.
Basic understanding of VAT and supplier compliance requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
