SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity exists for a Junior Financial Accountant looking to build their career within a collaborative and fast-paced finance environment

POSITION INFO:
This role is ideal for an enthusiastic finance professional who is eager to gain exposure to management accounting, the full finance function, and payroll processes, while working closely with a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with the full finance function
Preparing and supporting monthly management accounts
Processing journals and maintaining general ledger accounts
Performing bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations
Assisting with monthly financial reporting processes
Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation
Assisting with payroll administration and related reconciliations
Supporting audit processes and ensuring compliance with internal controls
Assisting the finance team with ad hoc accounting responsibilities

Education:

BCom Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Additional payroll or accounting-related training will be advantageous

Skills and Experience:

Minimum of 1 year's relevant accounting experience or completed accounting articles
Exposure to management accounts and financial reporting
Experience within the full finance function advantageous
Payroll exposure beneficial
Strong Excel and computer literacy skills
Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Bilingual communication skills advantageous
Collaborative, positive, and proactive approach to work
Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
