Key Responsibilities:

• Management Intelligence & Analytics: Assist in compiling sophisticated monthly management accounts and tracking operational variance trends to deliver actionable performance insights to business owners.
• Full-Cycle General Ledger Ownership: Drive processing accuracy across the entire accounting lifecycle, including processing adjusting journals, executing balance sheet reconciliations, and overseeing working capital sub-ledgers (debtors and creditors).
• Payroll & Statutory Administration: Execute timely monthly payroll processing, perform complex wage reconciliations, and compile essential tax submissions to secure total statutory compliance for clients.
• Audit Readiness & Year-End Reporting: Support senior consultants with the structural compilation of annual financial statements (AFS) and organize pristine supporting audit schedules for year-end reviews.

• A completed BCom Degree in Accounting, Corporate Finance, or an equivalent tertiary qualification.
• 1 to 2 years of foundational accounting success. Prior exposure navigating a multi-client portfolio within a professional services, accounting firm, or bookkeeping agency setup is highly preferred.
• Strong intermediate to advanced operational capabilities utilizing Microsoft Excel, combined with a natural comfort when learning new cloud-based accounting software and digital reporting tools.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, sharp organizational abilities to balance multiple client priorities under tight timelines, and a proactive, eager-to-learn attitude.
