SUMMARY:
A Junior Financial Manager is needed.

POSITION INFO:
An exciting opportunity exists for a Financial Manager to oversee the full finance function across a diverse group of companies. This role offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership while driving compliance, reporting accuracy, and effective financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations of the finance department and manage financial resources effectively
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and manage external audits
Prepare accurate balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, debtors, creditors, and inter-company accounts
Implement and maintain finance policies, procedures, and systems across the group
Produce monthly management accounts, financial reports, and annual financial statements
Support the budgeting process and prepare detailed cash flow forecasts
Analyze financial performance against budgets, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions
Assist with provisional and year-end tax calculations

Requirements:

Newly qualified CA(SA)
Minimum qualification: BCom Honours Degree
No preference to industry experience
Strong financial management and leadership experience
Solid technical knowledge of accounting principles, statutory compliance, and audit processes
Proven ability to manage reporting, budgeting, and forecasting at a group level
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
CaseWare and MS Excel skills required
We use MDA Property Manager, which would be advantageous, but not necessary
